Installation with photo projector and an animation
beamer, projector, photographs, video, media player, copper, aluminum, paper, metal, wood 2015

The work plays with reflection and absorption.

I arranged some of the research outcomes of a project ‘A House Placed in Between’ into a small installation. The projection on the right side uses a reflection on a copper plate. It shows a wolf like dog walking in front of a car that carries palm trees. I used this car and palm trees to make a city intervention in the Hague, in order to question about laws. The left projection is onto a black matt plate that absorb light completely, thus the image of a diplomatic car gives strange optical illusion. The middle animation is made with a combination of painted fingers and the intervention video.
